Ronald Reagan (1911–2004)
Ronald Reagan served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989, shaping the final decade of the Cold War and promoting conservative economic and social policies often called the “Reagan Revolution.” Before his presidency, he was governor of California (1967–1975) and had earlier built a career as a Hollywood actor and Screen Actors Guild president. A U.S. Army Reserve officer during World War II, Reagan’s career bridged entertainment, politics, and global leadership.
