Jasper Johns (1930– )
Randy Owen co-founded Alabama in 1969 with his cousins Jeff Cook and Teddy Gentry and became its lead singer and frontman. His voice carried the band’s biggest hits, making them the best-selling country group of all time. Owen also led the band’s charitable work, helping raise millions through concerts and philanthropy rooted in his hometown of Fort Payne.
