John Stallworth (1952– )
John Stallworth, a Tuscaloosa native and standout at Alabama A&M, became a four-time Super Bowl champion as a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over 14 seasons, he played in three Pro Bowls, earned two Super Bowl MVP honors, and secured his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002. After retiring, Stallworth returned to Huntsville, where he launched a technology company and established scholarships, linking athletic success to education and opportunity in North Alabama.
