Robert Schuller (1926–2015)
Robert Schuller gained national prominence as the host of the Hour of Power, a weekly Christian television broadcast that ran from 1970 until his retirement in 2006. He founded the Crystal Cathedral in California, one of the largest and most recognizable megachurches in the United States, and authored more than 30 books on faith and positive living. Schuller’s ministry used television and architecture to bring evangelical messages to a mass audience, shaping the rise of modern televangelism
