Lee Iacocca (1924 – 2019)
Lee Iacocca was an American automobile executive who held the positions of President, Chairman, and CEO of Chrysler Corporation from the 1970s through the 1990s. His automotive career began at Ford in 1946, where he played a crucial role in developing the Ford Mustang, the Continental Mark III, and the Ford Pinto. He also worked on projects to revitalize the Mercury line during the 1960s, leading to the introduction of models such as the Mercury Cougar and Marquis. After serving as President of Ford Motor Company, Iacocca joined Chrysler, where he was involved in the development of models like the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager.
