Historic buildings do not preserve themselves.
This year marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, a salient reminder that one way the story of our nation is told is through its historic places.
To recognize the individuals, organizations, and institutions who have contributed to the preservation of Huntsville–Madison County’s historic places, the Historic Huntsville Foundation will host its Historic Preservation Awards on May 6, 2026.
We are asking the public for your help. Please consider nominating individuals, businesses, organizations, or institutions whose work strengthens the historic fabric of Huntsville–Madison County and connects us to our past.
