CELEBRATE OUR GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY AND REVISIT HUNTSVILLE'S GILDED AGE

Our 2024 membership packages offer curated experiences that share the “inside story” of Huntsville’s historic places and their preservation.

Members enjoyed our kickoff Invitation to History event, “A Hilltop Masterpiece: James H. Wilson Hall at Alabama A&M University” on April 21, 2024. Guests toured the building, now home of the Black State Archives, the Velma A. Walker Art Gallery, and enjoyed stunning views of Huntsville from the building’s third-floor balcony.

The iconic I. Schiffman Building is the site of our November Invitation to History event, “Carved in Stone.”  Members will enjoy wine and delectable appetizers along with the tour of the building.

Our Community Partners members ($500 and above)  will enjoy a complimentary reception, “Turrets and Tiffany Glass” at the 1902 Fletcher Lowe House, the current home of the UAH President on September 29, 2024. Guests will enjoy cocktails and appetizers as they explore this recently renovated house, which is a statement in understated elegance.

And we will celebrate our 50th year of preserving Huntsville-Madison County with a grand party on the site of the former Monte Sano Hotel, a resort made for America’s newly minted millionaires. All HHF members will receive an invitation to this event, which includes cocktails, appetizers, music, and stunning views of the city once seen by the Vanderbilts and the Astors.

Plus! Back by popular demand, members who join or renew their membership at the Patron Level ($150) or above will receive a ClaybyLaura golden anniversary Preserve ornament, whose simple message is the heart of our mission.
